We're passionate about finding a cure for prostate cancer! Thank you for making the 2011 5K Race and 1 mile Fun Walk a success! We hope you will join us for the 2012 5K Race and 1 mile Fun Walk on Sunday, September 9, 2012.
Each year, more than 240,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 33,000 will die from the disease. The doctors and staff at Chesapeake Urology Associates are committed to fighting this common male cancer. Help us:
- Raise awareness of prostate cancer
- Raise funds for prostate cancer research to find a cure
- Provide free screenings to catch this cancer at an early stage, especially among African American men, who have a 60% greater risk.

If you are a man 40 years of age or older, it is important to have your prostate checked on an annual basis. Early detection and treatment of prostate cancer is the key to living a longer, healthier life. Take a few minutes each year to visit with your doctor for a prostate screening.
